Gas Millivolt Wire

The Gas Millivolt Wire is a replacement thermocouple or pilot generator lead wire for sauna gas heaters operating on a millivolt control system. In millivolt gas systems, the standing pilot flame generates a small electrical current (millivolts) via a thermocouple or thermopile; this wire carries that current to the gas valve to keep it open during normal operation.

Replace this wire if your pilot keeps going out, the gas valve is not staying open, or if visible wire damage is present. This is a common wear component in older standing pilot gas sauna heaters.
